Located 8km/5miles west of Tampa the airport is reached:
From the east – by taking the Interstate 4 West to Interstate 275 South to exit 39 and following the signs to the airport entrance
From the west - by taking Interstate 275 North to exit 39B and following the signs to the airport entrance.
From the North – by taking Interstate 75 South to Interstate 275 South to exit 39 and following the signs to the airport entrance.
From the South – by taking the Interstate 75 North to Interstate 4 West to Interstate 275 South to exit 39 and following the signs to the airport entrance.
By Highway 60 which passes the airport entrance just east of the Courtney Campbell Causeway.
By Veterans Expressway, which is just south of the entrance to the airport on Highway 60 |

Facilities at the airport include ATM’s, bureau de change, and a bank. Telephones with data ports are available throughout the airport, and there is a business centre at the Airport Marriott Hotel (tel: 813 874 6081), offering fax, photocopying, colour printing, and computer workstations with Internet access.
For refreshment there are available a number of restaurants and cafeterias located throughout the airport, and for last minute shopping there several different shops available There are several restaurants and cafés located throughout the airport. Other facilities include a First Aid Room and a chapel.
TTY/TTD telephones are installed for hearing impaired passengers, and for the disabled traveler there toilets and companion rooms available, as well as lifts and ramps to make the airport accessible. Parking is provided for disabled passengers in the short-term and long-term garages. |
