| My usual happy go lucky attitude vanished with the realisation that road laws are strictly enforced in Orlando. I was nailed for not Bucking up, breaking the speed limit and not using headlights in the rain. Speaking of rain, be careful of slippery of roads -if you need help call Florida Highway Patrol on your cell phone by dialing *FHP. Yeah, they help you just as quick as they nail you. One nifty thing is that you can turn right at a red light, unless signs say otherwise.

| The biggest shock of my life came when I was pulled over, I thought it was nothing to worry about, so I pulled over rolled down my window smiled at the cop. He in turn smiled back at me and proceeded to confiscated all the booze I had in my car. You see you are not allowed any booze in your car, whether it is open or closed. you must transport it in the boot of the car. |

| I was very scared as everything was the complete oppistite to home. Make sure you are ready for it if you plan to drive here, apart from that driving here is the same as every other city. |

| Situated in central Florida, most visitors come to Orlando for the magnificent theme parks, but there is much more to Orlando than Walt Disney World. The tourist boom has lead to a great array of quality accommodation and great eateries to arise in the city, and it is never more than a short drive to a great beach. As if all this wasn't enough, Orlando basks in sunshine all year round.

Walt Disney World - This fantastic fantasy land is the most famous tourist attraction in the world. With three separate parks, the Magic Kingdom, the EPCOT centre and MGM studios there is an enormous amount to do with fun for all the family.
Universal Studios - An incredible theme park dedicated to Hollywood films. The rides far surpass those anywhere else with the pick possibly being the marvellous Terminator 2: 3D. This prime attraction cannot be missed.
Sea World Orlando - Sea World is the aquarium of all aquariums and must be experienced. An incredible array of sea life can be found here from Killer Whales to Walruses. It is also good to know that your admission fee will go towards the continued and invaluable conservation work that the park performs.
Orlando Science Center - This attraction is located in downtown Orlando and is an informative and enjoyable experience. There are lots to see and do including a gator hole.
Close By - One of the great things about Orlando is it has many attractions in the surrounding areas. The Kennedy Space Center and the excellent Daytona Beach are both within easy driving distance. |
